I had a set of music samples I wanted to mix up and I didn't have any software available so I made a program to mix them up. My friend came over and was playing the program for over an hour. So I thought It would be cool to upload it to the internet. So I bought the buttonbass.com domain name and uploaded a few different programs I made. A short time later I made the piano. After about a year I got my friend Everett involved in producing the site and getting the name out there. From there we had a friend Ariel that made music. Ariel, Everett and I spent many afternoons recording sound samples,editing the samples, designing ui, making beats, ordering beats, designing t shirts, stickers, programming and barbecuing. Update 2013 - Everett, Ariel and I work on buttonbass all the time. We have been coming out with some inovative new widgets like the new recording studio that allows you to sing or rap over the music and then save it to your computer. The new dubstep piano has great new keyboard control functionality to mix beats. BADLAND, um game de aventura no estilo plataforma de muito sucesso no iOS, finalmente chegou ao mundo dos aparelhos Android. Os desenvolvedores do game vinham “ensaiando” esse lançamento já há alguns meses – deixando alguns fãs do título um tanto reticentes sobre o lançamento – ou não – do jogo para a plataforma.

Caso você ainda não conheça BADLAND, no game você controla uma criatura que mais parece uma bola de pelos perdida em um mundo cheio de esquisitices. O personagem se movimenta sozinho, entretanto, você deve fazê-lo flutuar em determinados momentos para que não acabe acertando obstáculos.

Além da temática maluca, o que chama a atenção no BADLAND e agrada ao público são mesmo os cenários psicodélicos presentes nas partidas. Recheado de sombras e muita cor, o game mostra um capricho muito grande na sua arte como um todo.

Apesar de o título ainda não ter feito muito sucesso por aqui, ele já conta com mais de sete milhões de downloads na Apple Store, algo impressionante para um título independente.
